Clarkson College is pleased to have Omaha Public Schools as a member of our Community Partnerships program. As the largest school district in Nebraska serving a diverse community of about 52,000 students, Clarkson College is proud to offer a scholarship opportunity to OPS employees, spouses, their dependent children as well as OPS graduates from 2023 and beyond seeking a career or advanced education in health care.

Benefits

  • Omaha Public Schools—OPS employees, as well as their spouses and dependent children (23 years old or younger) are eligible for a Community Scholarship:
    • Bachelor's degree -- Approximately $28,000 over four years
    • Associate's degree -- Approximately $14,000 over two years
  • All applicants who meet admissions qualifications and are seeking enrollment in our online programs will be accepted. Due to space limitations, preference will be given to applicants enrolling in our on-campus programs through additional points on their application.
  • Participants are eligible to apply for Clarkson College academic scholarships and Financial Aid. Learn more.

Scholarships are renewable for up to two years for an Associate’s degree and four years for a Bachelor’s degree, provided satisfactory academic progress and good standing are maintained, as outlined by Clarkson College policies. Awards are applied to tuition only. All scholarship totals listed are calculated at the maximum lifetime amount of each. This scholarship award is in addition to your financial aid award package. The Clarkson College Commitment to Excellence Scholarship, Founders’ Scholarship, and Community Scholarship may not be used in conjunction.
