The certificate for Health Data Analyst provides the fundamental knowledge in the subject area of health care technology, heath information systems, and data analysis.
The 26-credit hour program addresses the resources and methods used for managing health information. Successful completion of the program grants you eligibility to apply for Clarkson College Certificate of Completion. As a graduate, you will be knowledgeable in clinical data standards, terminological classification systems, data exchange, security and privacy of health data, as well as the analytical input skills to serve as an integral member of the health information technology, health systems, and health information management teams.
(26 semester hours) All courses are 7.5-week or 6-week in duration besides MAT 310 & MAT 410 which are only offered in a full-semester format (15- or 12-weeks in duration).
After completion of the 26 semester hours, students are eligible to apply for a Clarkson College Certificate of Completion.
Once the 26 semester hours in the Certificate program have been completed, an additional 44 semester hours will fulfill the requirements for the Associate’s degree in Health Information Technology.
